In action: ops mustard seed

Day 1 : Acknowledging God’s greatness/sovereignty and man’s frailty
Isaiah 40:6 – 26
Isaiah 41:1-7

Day 2 : Thanksgiving for God’s care and goodness
Isa 40:11, etc

Day 3: Focusing on Christ’s work and the effects and implications for my live
Isa 42

Hand in hand, we sing

Join your hand with mine, Let our faith combine
For in prayer there is nothing impossible
For where two agree, Pray in harmony
Jesus said, “There is nothing impossible”

Let us come before the throne of God
Let us call to him in prayer
And in Jesus’ name, his promise claim
Knowing He will answer our prayer

Join your hand with mine, Let our faith combine
For in prayer there is nothing impossible
Come without a doubt, Let your heart cry out
“I believe there is nothing impossible”

When the seed falls on the ground....

Dear all,

In our recent study of Joshua, we see how God raised a new generation of younger men to gain possession of the land He had promised to their forefathers. The purpose was not only to give them a better live than that of slavery in Egypt or that of wandering like nomads in the desert, but to establish a nation of God’s people where his glory will be displayed.

God’s purposes have not changed and today, we are still called to advance his kingdom and establish it on earth. The ground we capture is not a physical land but the hearts of man and we are not fighting against flesh and blood (the Canaanites, Jebusites, Hittites, etc) but our struggle is against the powers of this dark world and against evil forces in the heavenly places. We see from Joshua how God exacted faith, courage and obedience from the Israelites and every inch gained, every battle won was a direct result of the outworking of these qualities in his people.

backed by a story of faith, courage and obedience. was a was a managainst the as the Israelites did, , has brought about the need to seek God to lead us through a 40 day journey of prayer that will empower us, transform our lives and bring about a new generation of bold and dedicated labourers and leaders.

As we pray, we expect God to do great things in our midst:
(1) Firstly restoration and empowerment in our own lives
Renewed strength, faith and courage
